I'm a software engineer with more than ten years in tech leading teams. Since 2018 I've been hiring for WATA Factory: from Spain we build software and teams for German companies such as Porsche, Volkswagen, Jaguar or Commerzbank, among many others.
I code for pleasure in C, C++ and Rust, I teach courses on LinkedIn Learning and I have published two programming books with Anaya. I understand your stack, and in the interview we will speak the same language.

What people usually ask me before the first call.
Does it cost me anything?
No. I work for WATA Factory and my interest is that the hire works out and the relationship lasts in the long run.
I'm not actively looking. Is it worth talking?
Yes. Most of the people I place were not looking. A 10-minute conversation is enough for me to know what would make you move, and I only write to you again if I have something for you.
What happens to my CV after I send it to you?
I keep it in my private archive and only share it with WATA Factory, its strategic partners or clients once you have said yes to that specific search. If you ask me to delete your CV, I delete it.
Does my CV go straight to WATA Factory?
No. It comes to me, in my own mailbox, and I keep it in my personal database. WATA Factory does not see it. I only pass it on to WATA Factory, or to any other company, after we have talked and you have said yes to that specific search, with the terms clear. Until then, your CV does not leave my database.
Do I need to live in Spain?
Almost always, yes: most of my searches are for working from Spain, remote, hybrid or on site, for companies in Germany. I run processes in English and German. I tell you in advance what language level each role requires.
